Pixel Ink Design does Asheville. We (Suze & Ev) have designed over 100 websites internationally, but until August 2008 we had only designed a handful of Asheville websites. The main reason being that we make our living online with our own Internet ventures (and have since early 2004) and didn't really have the incentive or time.
Due to our success, many locals have wanted us to design websites for their Asheville small businesses because they see that we know how to approach the Internet from a small business point of view as well as from a design point of view. Many Asheville web designers are solely approaching web design from a creative design aesthetical intention. Worked advanced on the LDRD
Created a Youtube channel and integrated it into the LDRD website. We used YouTube as a way for visitors to hear audio samples of the interviews contained in the member's area. It worked very well.
We did a rewrite of a majority of the content on the top tier pages for better flow and clarification.
Ranking is steadily improving thanks to the web 2.0 matrix that we created using Aweber (auto responder) , PRWEB (press releases) , youTube (video distrobution and syndication), rss feeds and Itunes podcasting (further syndication).
We will continue with audio and video production on a monthly basis, adding more and more benefits to the members area.

We have completed six months of testing through backend sales at start-cleaning-business.com. Testing has been very illuminating and it looks like the Site-O-Rific model works very well indeed.
Site-O-Rific is live and should be tweak free by July 1st. Items being wrapped up are-
Final design/ final content/ all tags and coding finalized/ templates for building the niche sites/ clickbank integration/ Google Adwords integration/ Email set up/ terms of purchase/ FAQ/ lockdown security/ blog functions/ and a few other tiddly bits.

The websites are very affordable, fast and specifically tailored to perform well for service professionals such as cleaning pros, electricians, plumbers, roofers, landscape artist, automechanics, HVAC pros, etc...

Spring Update

Since March 1st we have launched a new product line for the Suze & Ev Method. the Starting a carpet cleaning business method. This included a new method book and member's portal including a new database, autoresponder, markething matrix and client relations system. We also launched a Spanish version of the Suze & Ev Method and will be testing the response to that for next few months.
Site-O-Rific is back in development. This project has been testing very well and has been bumped up in priority. More on that in june.
We have been perfecting the multi-media tools for the Lyme Disease Research Database, increasing the reach and usability of the tools.
We will continue with these "in house projects" through the summer and into the fall.

Finished the LDRD design upgrade. Now working on the Web 2.0 matrix for promo and multi-media delivery for the member's area.
New "start up method' for new Suze & Ev membership site now 80% finished. Added new live real-time auction feature to membership service.
Site-O-Rific project launch is on hold till April 08. In slow-mo development till then.
New niche website- "carpetcleaningmachine" is launched and in start up testing phase. In use for testing of Web 2.0 features.
Pre-planning and feasibility testing for new niche site is in the works to be possibly launched in Summer/ 08.

The more I explore Asheville, the more I love it! The fall colors in the region this year are amazing. Interesting activities a plenty this time of year. Happy Holloween Asheville!
I am currently working on the Fortune Exchange website and the backend database. I'm also working on music production for the Ampersand shows. Pixel Ink Design will be offically getting into multi- media content generation for third party production around the end of the year.
I have been going more in depth with the Integral approach and applying it towards web design and digital selves. More on this to come...

Buy Local WNC site design and consulting

currently working on the Buy local WNC website along with the local director here in Asheville, NC. We have set up a methodology where I do the initial design and layout. Using Rapid Weaver, the client is able to build the website from the basic core installation that I set up. This allows the client to actually grow the look and feel of the site right along with the development of the 'real world centric' Buy Local WNC project. we will be adding the 'Buy Local WNC' website to the portfolio once complete.

Trying to finish up the White Pine Acupuncture and massage website design as well.
The Ampersand Show website for that particular Asheville, NC performance collective is currently on hold till other work gets done.
We are also working hard on building up our Lyme Disease Research database project to help those suffering from Lyme Disease to get accurate and useful information easily online.

The Ampersand Show Beta site is up and running. Ampersand is a 'Multi- Media Cultural Mash- Up Ritual' for Asheville. I am developing Ampersand in my practically non existent free time. I hope to have Ampersand be a cultural exchange experience for the greater Asheville area. web design elements will be a major part of the Ampersand experience.
